Digital ticketing update impacting Apple users
Apple Users, your mobile tickets are getting more secure! Please review the Apple Account Binding information below before the first game.
While there is a lot of information below, these changes are significant, and we ask that you kindly take the time to review them to ensure a better game day experience this season.
Please note: at this time, these changes do not impact anyone other than Apple users.
Key Points
- Due to the latest Apple update, your Razorback Ticket account will now be permanently bound to your Apple Account
- Each person who downloads a ticket to their Apple device must have their own Razorback Ticket account
- ALWAYS use the official ticket transfer feature, accessible through your Razorback Ticket account or the Razorback app
- NEVER share your Razorback Ticket login with anyone not using your Apple device
- NEVER forward a "download to wallet" email as a way of sharing tickets with others
- To set up account binding, sign in to your Razorback Ticket account and add one ticket (do not select "add all') to your wallet. Follow the Apple verification prompt. Your accounts are then bound.
How to Share Your Tickets Moving Forward
You can no longer forward "Download to Wallet" emails to share tickets, and you should not share your Razorback Ticket login information to share tickets with others. Instead, use the official transfer feature in your Razorback Ticket account.
For Duos, Families, & Groups
If you want to transfer tickets to other party members who may be arriving at different times, the person who purchased the tickets should download them to their Apple Wallet. This person should then transfer the tickets to other group members through the official process. Each person who downloads a ticket to their own device must have their own Razorback Ticket account.
How to Set Up Apple Account Binding
- First Time Setup: When you add your first mobile ticket to Apple Wallet, Apple will ask you to verify your Apple Account using Face ID, Touch ID, or your password. This one-time step creates a secure connection between your Razorback Ticket account and your Apple Account.
- Future Tickets: All future tickets from the Razorbacks will automatically link to your Apple Account—no additional setup needed.
- At the Gate: No changes! Tap your phone at the scanner just like before
